The rod of choice is a nine foot in six weight, typically matching the weight of the line to the rod will provide a balanced combination for our range of conditions and locations. Like the fly line, clothing must always be dull drab colours. Waders are used in the alpine streams as the headwaters are often snow fed and felt soled boots are a must.
