This applies equally to the excellence of the trophies obtained and to the excellence of the hunt itself where a great deal of pride is taken in ensuring that the hunt of a lifetime is indeed just that.

Guides are intimately familiar with the game species in New Zealand, this extends to both trophy quality as well as animal behaviour through out the year. The guides are kept in touch with the different species during pre-season scouting which ensures a sound knowledge going into the hunting season.

Many of these guides have spent numerous seasons guiding for a variety of big game species within North America and Europe and bring to your hunting experience a wealth of knowledge. They are skilled at assessing hunters’ abilities and being able to ensure success while catering to individuality.

Minaret Outfitters Guides are members of the New Zealand Professional Hunting Guides Association and under the direction of owners Matt and Jonathan Wallis, are further trained in specific areas to levels exceeding these industry benchmarks. Professionalism and client safety is paramount. As such, regular scheduled training occurs before and during the hunting season to ensure that all guides are knowledgeable and current in mountain safety.
