The careful handling and quality preparation of trophy animals is a very important part of the hunting process at Minaret Outfitters. Initial field preparation is facilitated by the guides who are experienced in the techniques specific to the type of mount that is required.
Hunters have a choice of getting their taxidermy work done with a taxidermist in New Zealand or having the trophies expedited to their home country to have the work performed there.
The majority of hunters have their own preferred taxidermist in their home country with whom they have all their taxidermy work completed. As such, the majority of trophies are prepared in New Zealand and then expedited to that specified taxidermist for actual taxidermy work. Additionally this has cost benefits with the more compact shipping crates incurring less export freight charges.
The taxidermy performed by the taxidermist here in New Zealand with whom Minaret Outfitters have a strong affiliation with is indeed first class and will be sure to preserve those hunting memories for generations to come.
